What is covered:

Tin Goat Ltd. warrants to the original purchaser each bicycle frame and fork against defects in materials and workmanship.  This warranty applies to Tin Goat-Branded products only.  This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective item, as determined by Tin Goat’s sole judgement.

What is not covered:

Any other original part or component purchased with a Tin Goat frame or fork.  Those are covered only by the stated warranty of that original manufacturer.  Specifically excluded from this warranty are any damage, product failure, or injury resulting from:

• Any form of misuse, abuse or accident.

• Improper assembly.

• Installation or use of parts or components or accessories unsuitable to the frame or fork or their designed uses.

• Lack of proper maintenance or other form of neglect.

• Normal wear and tear.

• Graphics and cosmetic condition.

• Any incidental or consequential damages resulting from any of the above. 

• Any return shipping charges or labor costs for installation of replacement parts.

Note also that any modification of the frame or fork shall void this warranty.  This warranty is not transferable.

 

Duration:

Bicycle frames are covered for five years, bicycle forks are covered for two years, both from the original purchase date.

 

How to get Service:

Any claim under this warranty must be made either directly to Tin Goat Ltd. or through an authorized retailer.  Appropriate and effective description and documentation of any defect may be required, including shipping of the frame or fork to Tin Goat for assessment, providing photographs, etc.  Please retain your original purchase receipt in order to expedite support under this warranty.  Proof of purchase is required.  Tin Goat Ltd. may be contacted at:

How State Law Applies

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.  Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation on duration may not apply to you.  Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
